Sally wrote this tune up in the mountains in Antioquia (Colombia), hanging in a hammock, watching the hummingbirds come and go. "'Chupa, chupa' is just such a sexy thing to sing." she says. Sally's husband, Colombian documentary filmmaker Diego García-Moreno, helped with the lyrics.
lyrics
Like the flower calling to the bee
“Kiss Me”
Like the honey that the bear retrieves,
“Kiss Me”
Take me in your green and mossy arms now
one more time.
Tangle and entwine me, baby, like the melon vine.
And kiss me
ONE MORE TIME
Como una flor llamando al colibrí:
“chupa, chupa”
Tu boca de miel se tiende sobre mí,
“Chupa”
Tómame en tus brazos, aprisióname otra vez
Con la selva de tus ojos cobíjame y después
“Kiss me”
BÉSAME OTRA VEZ.
BÉSAME OTRA VEZ.
BÉSAME OTRA VEZ.
BÉSAME OTRA VEZ.
